Sidsel Endresen & Stian Westerhus at Skopje Jazz Festival

Endresen and Westerhus, voice and guitar. Sidsel Endresen songs are composed of hypnotic melodies belonging to an unknown language: words are linked, seem to have a sense, but fled just before being tamed. Guitarist Stian Westerhus alternates for its saturations howling and distorted cries, to better be able to afford some airline flights. Everything seems to oppose these two worlds and yet, in perfect improvisation and contradiction, magic happens. The two Norwegians take pleasure in breaking all the rules, to constantly find new ways to use their instruments. Each representation is a unique moment, a concert in which no one else can attend.
